Dog Physics

the laws of motion, by dog 🐾

“Dog physics is kind of like real physics except it’s all made up, and it doesn’t matter if it doesn’t fit into anything — the whole purpose of dog physics is just to make shit up.”

What we believe

Law 🐾 — The fractional dimension

There really aren't straight lines in the universe — almost everything is a little bit funked. My two guesses for the dimension we actually live in: the constant e (2.71828…) or π (3.14159…). A dog never walks in a straight line either; this is not a coincidence.

Law 🐾🐾 — Rounding is fundamental

There's either a rounding function or a rounding field that expands or contracts projected reality, based on a mesh of observers' perceptions. Trace a small puzzle piece in crayon, then in pen — the smaller the piece, the less room between the lines. The threshold of existence is likely e/3 or 3/π: somewhere between 90.6% and 95.5%.

Law 🐾🐾🐾 — Blue is conscious

Break the speed of light inside a medium and the universe glows blue — Cherenkov radiation. Color is fundamental, possibly conscious, and every other color might be encoded into blue and ultraviolet in the 2D realm. Yes, I'm one of those hologram believer fuckers. (Dogs are dichromats; they were never fooled by the other colors.)

Law 🐾🐾🐾🐾 — The primes

Solving the prime-number-related things probably lets us understand the universe a lot better. I spend a decent amount of time just spinning prime spirals in Figma and doing simple operations and Fourier transformations on them. Now you can spin one too. The primes are the good boys: they refuse to be divided.

Invented in February 2023, lying in bed, on the most productive day of my life. The only thing I’m certain about is being uncertain.
